Masunaga
Masunaga began the production of eyeglasses in Fukui in 1905. The founder Gozaemon Masunaga brought in skilled craftsmen from Osaka and Tokyo with the ambition of setting the optical industry solidly in Fukui. From beautifully hand polished Japanese acetate, to lightweight beta-titanium material, every Masunaga frame is hand crafted meticulously. Each frame is made in their factory and involves over 200 manual processes. No shortcuts are taken, no compromises are made in the creation of each Masunaga frame. Their signature seven barrel hinges ensure durability. Their comfort is unmatched with adjustable titanium nose pads and universal fit bridge on plastic frames.
